Chemical Bonding
With our technical textile expertise, we meet the needs of both industrial and commercial sectors.
The chemical bonding process enables fibers to be fixed together using specialized binding chemicals. The fiber web formed in the carding line and layered by the crosslapper is passed through a chemical application containing bonding agents. These binders penetrate the fiber surfaces and harden during the drying and curing stages, creating a strong structure that bonds the fibers together.
Through this method, fully synthetic, natural, or blended fiber nonwoven fabrics can be produced. Chemical bonding enhances the strength of the product while also maintaining surface stability and form retention.
